Is anyone able install either of these tools unto their User layer?Īny steps i can take to troubleshoot the User layer specifically? Tried using Windows but exact same result. I am using bare images, just a OS (Win ) that is patched/updated and a VDA (Xendesktop 1808) to rule out any interference from other tools/software. Other installations are OK but I see a pattern forming, something must be wrong. The SQL studio will crash at the Visual Studio 2015 (Isolated) step, the installation just hangs.īoth of these installations finish fine when using the same machine but as a local user (so no user layer).
The RSAT installation is really slow at first and will just error out after a while with error code 0x800f0922 I have trouble installing the RSAT tools when using a User layer, same for SSMS 2016 (Sql management studio).
